To request a quote, please complete our online form. 

For Testing Services:  Include the test number, material type, and the number of specimens to be tested.  If requesting testing methodologies outside of those listed, provide a description of your needs.

For Consulting Services and Instructional Services:   Provide a brief description of your specific needs. 

Quotes: We aim to provide quotes within one week. 

Testing Services:  Projects are completed on a first-come, first-served basis, typically within 2-4 weeks from receipt of test specimens. Completion times may vary based on the type and number of tests requested, the number of specimens per test, as well as equipment and personnel availability.

Consulting and Instructional Services: Completion times will be discussed and agreed upon based on the scope of the project. 

Proper identification of all materials and specimens is essential. 

Clients must disclose any hazardous or toxic materials that may be present in the test specimens and inform Swab Consulting LLC of any potential reactions that may occur during testing. Please provide the appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for each material with the test specimens. If hazardous conditions or reactions that may damage testing equipment are known or anticipated, it is the client's responsibility to inform Swab Consulting LLC so we can take necessary precautions. Failure to disclose such information may result in additional costs for equipment repair or replacement.

Specimen preparation, such as diamond machining or polishing, is not included in the quoted costs. If such services are needed, we can provide contact information for companies that specialize in these services and coordinate the machining.

Each project request should include instructions for the return of specimens if desired. Shipping costs for the return of specimens are the client's responsibility. Specimens not returned will be held for six months before being discarded. 

Results of the testing will be emailed to the customer upon completion of the project. The results should be considered advisory and/or experimental. Neither Swab Consulting LLC or its employees, assumes any obligation or liability for damages, including, but not limited to, consequential damages arising from or in conjunction with the use, or inability to use, the data provided. 

Invoices for completed projects will be sent after the data has been generated. Once payment has been received the test results will be delivered and, where appropriate, specimens will be returned. Terms are net 30 days and all payments will be made in US funds. Checks, echecks and Zelle are accepted forms of payment. Arrangements for payments in US funds will need to be made in advance for any project requests from outside the United States.
